Gingerbread Slab Mug Workshop

When: December 10, 6:00-8:30pm (arrive 5-15 minutes early)

Where: New School Montessori, 935 Columbia Ave

Join the NSM community for an evening filled with fun and winter clay creation! The Gingerbread Slab Mug Workshop is a unique opportunity for adults to participate in an art class led by NSM's art teacher, Anna Seminara. It involves building a slab mug with her guidance followed by a snack break before utilizing the sgraffito technique to color the clay and carve “icing” to create the classic gingerbread look. Mugs will be fired and clear glazed by Anna, ready to pick up approximately two weeks later. This workshop is a fun way to celebrate winter while being creative for both beginners and advanced potters - no prior experience is required! BYOB, and bring your favorite snack to share if you’d like!

(minimum of 4 people needed to run). LAST DAY TO SIGN UP IS 12/9 at 4PM.
